The
road up to Kinlochewe was superb. About 10 miles of very gentle climb
through a mountain lined valley, with a shallow descent to the village. At the entance to the village was " The Old Village Hall" now conevrted to an outdoor store. We called in briefly and met a nice chap who by coincidence had the same Sony camera. Talking about the Compact Flash exeperincem, he showed us to his office where he was busy with one of his hobbies - photography. As well as admiring his photos of Scotland we had a go at recovering pictures from the flashcard via his PC and printer but to no avail. He gave us a couple of "Maxim" drinks to help us on our way and we bade farewell. We travelled all of 50 yards to the Kinlochewe Stores where we sat inside away from the mides and had a superb cooked breakfast and loaded up with rations for the day. |
