Dover to Cape Wrath 2005 - Ben & Graham Brodie

Faversham was quite an interesting pace, with lot's of boats and a brewery. Just after the brewery we turned right over the river and followed a marked cycleway, through to Sittingbourne. The road took us into an industrial estate. The cycle route sign had been demolished by a car so we ended up going the wrong way into a dead end. Eventually we found our way through the traffic logged town and onto the main road.

We stopped at a greasy spoon near Gravesend, (very cheap) as were now drying out. Although a main road to Gravesend it was wide, with a cycle lane in places and traffic wasn't bad.
