Lord Stones cafe. ( the top! )
The climbing came to an end and we took an early coffee stop as the Lord Stones cafe, as it had been thirsty work.
As we left we were joined on the long descent by a local racing cyclist called Davey. He knew a good quiet route through to the town of Yate, so we tagged along with him for a few miles which saved us a bit of map reading.

Once n the level we were stuck behind a road roller for a bit, until we eventually got up enough speed to get past it!

The SPAR shop at Yate was our picnic lunch spot, Ben somehow managed to double up on the sandwhiches.

Looking across towards Middlesborough.
