27th July, Train from Newton Abbot to Inverness.

One of the greatest worries in planning this trip was the journey to the top. Many options were considered including flying and hire cars/vans. Really the train should be the ideal option, but the situation with regard to taking bikes on trains these days is very tricky. In the end the Railcard was purchased and the trains booked. This was certain to be an adventure in itself, - and we weren't disappointed!
