It was a cloudy morning when we left Kyleakin, but the cloud was high enough to give fine views across Loch Alsh. We crossed over the new bridge ( not there on the 1987 trip!), and then headed down the Northern side of the Loch. I wanted to visit the famous landmark Dornie Castle which was about ten miles down the road, before heading off tom Plockton. Today was a bit of a tour excursion as Torridon is only 45 miles direct. |
