There are one or two quite nippy climbs on the last section.

The sentry box

Fine Sea views. This bit of tarmac really bounces up and down when the minibuses pass! - You'd need a box of 1000 CTC pothole cards!
Oncoming traffic - shame really - not much challenge but probably provides some local employment.

A few locals enjoying the sun.
Finally our journeys end swings into view.

Yet somehow they even managed to squeeze one more little hill in right at the end!

At the Cape Wrath Lighthouse - very peaceful.

We arrived at the Cape Wrath lighthouse at One O'clock, and relaxed in the warm sunshine.
Photographs were duly taken and we wandered around the clifftops before heading back to catch a ferry across the Kyle.... and so began the panic of how to get to Lairg by 6pm!
