Things
went a bit wrong when we arrived on the outskirts of Telford. We wanted
to head South of the town, but the road took us around to the North
and then we ended up on a dual carriageway with no easy way off of it
and all signs for other places. It began to rain again and we ended
up right in the town, with no signs telling you how to get out. Eventually
we found the sign to Colaport and arrived at the Hostel, and visited
the Iron Bridge.
It was quite an nice hostel ( pricey!) and we booked a meal there. It
was somewhat odd because we had to book an exact time for our meal sitting,
but when we sat down it took about 45 minutes to come an take you order
for the starter ( which you had already booked and paid for two hours
previously!) The food was okay, but more expensive and poorer quality
than the Brink Inn!
We made good use of the excellent games room, which had pool tables
and various other machines.
