After
Seaton we headed off towards Widegates, and into a maze of lanes to Polruan.
This is where it all started to go a bit wrong. A few wrong directions
and some seriously steep hills, and I was struggling.
It was almost 7pm when we crossed the Polruan ferry, and with another
40 miles to run to Coverack it became clear that it wasn't going to happen
that evening!
Luckily Euan's place was at Ladock, only about 12 miles from St.Austell,
so we headed there where I crashed out for the night and was fed and watered,
but still felt a bit shattered after 85 lumpy and very sticky miles.
