4 - the new plan! Street and Cheltenham were off the menu, so today decided
to head for Chepstow via the Severn Bridge. The hostel at Welsh Bicknor was cancelled, and I arranged to stay with friends Nik & Jennifer in Chepstow. Hopefully a flatter easier day would enable me to recover a bit and get back on track! I left the hotel and whizzed through Tiverton on a glorious sunny morning. Time for a few quick photos around Sampford Peverell and then along the old A38 to Wellington, where I stocked up with stickies at the Co-Op. It was very windy on the A38, mostly a crosswind. At Bridgwater I stopped for a coffee from a service station, and then carried on through Burnham-on-Sea and past Brent Knoll. |
