Day
1 of the big bike ride started out hot and sticky, not ideal for me,
and I was still suffering from the dregs of a head cold which had been hanging
around for about 5 weeks! The first 35 miles to Plymouth went well, taking about 2hrs 40 min. I had lunch at the works canteen, and rode to the Railway station to meet Euan who had travelled up from Cornwall. ] |

From
Torpoint we took the ferry and the A374 from Saltash and followed the B3427
along the coast to Seaton, where we had a coffee in the cafe, and Euan had
a fag break and indulged in a bit of mine-sweeping. | |
