The
orginal plan for Day 3 was Padstow to Street.
Ladock to Street was looking at over 130 hilly miles, so I cancelled the
YHA booking at Street, and decided to head into Devon and see how far
towards Somerset I could get.
Euan rode with me to Bodmin, which was handy as he knew the roads.
After saying farewell I cut North East across to Camelford for lunch.
I met a couple of cyclists there who were camping, - their bikes were
lighter than mine!
From Camelford it was familiar roads through Egloskerry to Launceston
and onto the old A30 to Okehampton.
Fish and Chips at Oke, and then a fast easy run into Crediton, a long
haul over Cadbury Hill, and decided to call it a day - nice cheap B&B
at Tiverton, and time to re-plan a bit of the route!
