| I
decided to try the "Strawberry Line" which is the old railway
line to Clevedon. It cut's through the hill above Axbridge. I t worked out very well, the surface was generally fine for heavy touring tyres, I stopped for picnic lunch after the tunnel, but the wind was so strong it was impossible to find anywhere sheltered. I just had to hang on to everything including the bike whilst I stuffed. I continued to the end of the line a had coffee at the Shell garage in the relative shelter of Clevedon. |
