The wind was incessant, and it was slog to Kirby Lonsdale - another front puncture - this time I located the slivver of glass in the trye. I rolled into Kendal at about 6pm with only 61 miles on the clock. Succumbed to a Mc.Donalds, and then headed off towards Windermere. The wind was still strong, but easier in the sehelter of the Lakes, through Windermere and Ambleside. |
